Questions we get every week
Plain answers from the team at Elevate Auto Sales in Glendale. Every number here is the same one we use when we write a deal.
No. We handle the search, the negotiation and the paperwork, then deliver the car to your home or office anywhere in Los Angeles County. You never set foot in a dealership.
A broker works for you, not for a brand. We contact multiple dealers at once for the same car, compare their offers, negotiate the price and the lease terms, arrange financing and deliver the car. You get one point of contact and one set of numbers in writing. The long version is in what an auto broker in Los Angeles actually does.
Every payment we advertise is quoted with $3,000 due at signing, tax excluded, so you can compare cars on one number. Your own city's sales tax is added to each monthly payment on top of that. This month's payments are on the specials page.
The selling price, the residual value and the money factor. The selling price is the one we negotiate down. The residual and the money factor are set by the bank each month. Two quotes can show the same monthly number and hide very different money factors, which is why we put every line in writing. Read the three numbers that decide every lease.
It depends on how many miles you drive and how long you keep a car. If you drive under about 12,000 miles a year and like a new car every few years, a lease usually costs less per month than a loan on the same car. If you drive a lot or keep cars for many years, buying usually wins. The full comparison is in lease or buy a car in Los Angeles.
There is no single cutoff. Each bank sets its own credit tiers. A lower tier does not raise the car's price; it raises the money factor and can mean more due at signing. Send one application through our website and we tell you where you stand before you pick a car.
LA County sales tax rises half a percent on October 1, 2026 under Measure ER. California charges sales tax on each monthly lease payment, so the tax line on a current lease goes up too, about $3 a month on a $600 payment. City by city detail is in our October 1 guide.
Yes. MyFirstEV takes $3,500 off a new electric car for first-time EV buyers and lessees at signing, with no income limit. Funds close one brand at a time, so we check which brands are still open before you commit. Details are in the MyFirstEV lease guide.
They change every month as the banks reset residuals and money factors. We publish the current payments on the specials page each month, quoted with $3,000 due at signing, tax excluded, so they are comparable across brands. If the car you want is not there, tell us and we source it.
